Gilels plays Brahams: Paganini variation book I

my russian piano teacher used to know Gilels in person, she is a lady in her 80's and before she left the states for Russia we used to play the piano, drink tea and eat cake and have her tell me all these fascinating stories about what a dedicated musician he was.

I thought I needed to expand my recording collection as most of the time I feel uninspired practicing alone at home.
