I have been doing some serious house cleaning since yesterday, and that included a 5 hour deep carpet cleaning, dumping of unused household items and wash and rewash everything that had been out in the open since the air conditioning people worked here. After that I called up Takako for a bit of coffee, it turned out to be so much fun. It's amazing how much happier I can be with a little get together with friends.

Our AC and heater are finally being installed, it took three workers working for three full days non stop and costed well over 8k. I heard the price would have been much higher if we weren't in a recession and a slow season of the year. Now that I got myself into thinking, so many things around the house need to be fixed, last year we had a new fence put up because of a burglar broken into the house, now the AC, I guess home renovation will just have to be done slowly with a budget.

a porcelain doll that I picked up from a antique shop, it was made in Germany from early part of the 20th century. it came with a set, the lady is singing to her music book and a gentleman(not in the pic,) is playing the flute. I thought if anyone was going to buy them they ought to be a musician, so I got them, a few years back!

Gorden and I went to see Kissin's concert at Walt Disney last night, he bought the tickets months ago for both of us and as it turned out, it was one of the most incredible solo recital I had ever seen in my life.

Got my first Holga today! and the most important part? It's red! My nikon broke so I'm using the picture from this website, they show you all the trick you can do with this camera.
