and happy as a clam. Today is my 27th birthday, yay!

an old friend of mine visited me from Japan so we chat over dinner and tried to catch up what went on in our lives in the past few years.

I really think that kelly is the best doggy in the whole wide world, I suppose every dog owner thinks that of their own pet?

4th of July weekend

So I bailed out on work Sunday because it made me feel that bad to work when everyone else is having a vacation. So instead I had lots of good food, long walks on the beach and hang out with three musketeers:p

except heat waves, I love everything about summer! Lots of summer dresses and sandals, outdoor concerts, grills, cold drinks, the beach, hmmm, and of course, hanging out with friends. I had brunch with Vivian and then visited a weird little shop next door that sells a lot of weird stuff. Went on shopping for clothes, I finally found some pretty dresses that look comfortable too.

here's what I got,

I'm a total meat eater and once in a while i will be interested in it enough to cook for myself. Charcoal BBQ is really labor intensive but in the end it's worth the trouble because the flavor is really very good. I also grilled some chicken without any spice in it just for Kelly, she LOVED it. Now I've had my fill of holiday fun, with a latte in hand I'm ready to practice, I work Friday, Saturday and Sunday:)

well, that was it. All done with my teeth extraction. I didn't want to cancel on my students in the afternoon but miraculously they all canceled even though usually they come in lessons very consistently. I guess I was meant to have a short break then. I'm not feeling too bright today but of course, Kelly made it all better. She's such a sweet doggy. We watched TV and ate strawberry jam.
